My daughters asked me to help them make a quilt for their good friends that are expecting their first baby, later this year (2016). Our first lesson was really quick before they moved out of state the very next day so Ashley & Kate here is lesson #2.
We are using Fabric Cafe's Stepping Up Quilt pattern and their fabric quilt purchased from MAQF 2016.
Fabric #1 Yellow w/trees
Fabric #2 Green
Fabric #3 Orange
Lesson #1 is not depicted here but here is a summary of what we did.
- Wash and dry the fabric.
- Iron and fold fabric accordion style.
- Cut out all the strips per the pattern.
- Sew 2-1/2" green to 6" strips to make Block Assembly A and B.
